Perry’s work is rooted in a thoughtful blend of traditional and contemporary influences, resulting in interiors that are layered, tailored, and enduring. His approach draws from travel, art, architecture, and the natural world, bringing a quiet richness and depth to each space. Every detail is carefully considered, from architectural elements to furnishings, creating environments that feel cohesive, inviting, and distinctly personal.

A native of South Carolina, Perry holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Winthrop University and is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers. Since founding Walter Studio in 2004, he has built a practice centered on collaboration, working closely with architects, builders, and craftsmen to deliver fully realized homes with a high level of detail and precision.

The studio offers full-service interior design, from new construction and large-scale renovations to furnishing projects, with a focus on custom homes throughout the Southeast and beyond.
